Leaders, Heroes and Villains
When there is war there will always be leaders and heroes. World war two was massive and involved many brave, heroic and amazing people. This page is wholly devoted to those villains and heroes of world war two, so read on for more.
Adolf Hitler
Hitler was born in Austria on 20th April 1889. As a child Hitler was moody and lazy, he hated his strict father. Although he excelled in primary school and many of his class-mates admired him for his leadership qualities. However as he went up in age, his grades deteriorated. Despite the hostility towards his father, Adolf practically worshiped his mother. When she died of cancer in Dec 1908 Hitler was devastated, he would never be the same again.
Adolf Hitler joined the German army during world war one and had the dangerous job of a dispatch runner (someone who carried messages to the front line). By the end of the war he had been awarded five medals, However he only reached the rank of corporal because he had "little leadership qualities". A while after the war Hitler joined the Nazi party and rose to the top. It was only now that he was listened to about hatred for Jewish people. Hitler knocked down any other competition and took complete control of the country, world war two was not far away.

Otto Skorzeny/Scarface
Scarface
Yes, I know he's a Nazi, but that doesn't mean he can't be a hero. Otto was famous for many things including the kidnapping of Mussolini from his ski resort hotel in the Italian Abruzzi. They entered silently in gliders, took the Italian and brought him back to HQ, all without firing a single bullet.
More of his deeds include the kidnapping of the Hungarian leader's son and dressing his troops up in American uniforms, destroying supply dumps and ambushing American units.
